(This is actually my class' assignment, but I think it's not bad to read, especially for the young people...)
According to
his speech at The International Conference on Futurology, there will be a shift in the world’s economics for next 10-20
years. In the first eighteen hundred years, asia economies made up more than
50% of the global economy. Which is
mean that this could be increased in 2045/2050. He has heard the rumor that
China dominated asia’s economy even world, nowadays.
In
supercycle report, it basically talks about where global economies will go in
the next ten years.
For the top 5 countries
in the global economy there were;
2000:
US, Japan, Germany, France, UK.
2010: US, China, Japan, Germany, France.
And for the next years, there will be more young people added in the world’s
population than the old people, it means that will be a flip of the “pyramid” which is the
top side of the flip pyramid will be filled by the old people, but the lower
side of the flip pyramid will be filled by the young people, and in Indonesia
now produce more percentage of the young people and it can stand until the next
few years, which is mean it’s fantastic as Indonesia can infused these
generation with education.
Indonesia
actually can produce many educated young people every year, but it still can’t
vanquish the amount of India and China had, even until 2030. For the country
constructions, it needs a billion dollars to take to make it worked. Such as
for the steel consumes, it needs about 500kg per capita but Indonesia only
consumes about 30kg. How to make it into 500kg? We need a billion dollars to
make it happen. But in digital, Indonesia has nearly 80% of mobile penetration
grade and 50% of the internet user in Indonesia already using mobile phone.
With this
condition, the young people of Indonesia, hopefully can use the advantages of
the internet to educate themselves, increase their knowledge, so it’s not
impossible for another Steve Jobs born in Papua or another nobel prizes in the
field of mathematics or physics would be given to someone in Manokwari for
another possible future. It’s not impossible, because a few things are already
possible, like Anton Suharya, he along with his friends create a game
application and it becomes the top 10 most popular game application in the
world nowadays.
